An x-ray (radiograph) is a non-invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. X-rays are the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging. At Bombay Hospital, we use fully digital x-ray techniques. The department is located on the Ground Floor of the Bombay Hospital Building where most of the General Radiology work is done ,whereas as on the 3 rd floor of the New Wing building, most of DSA ( interventional and neuro interventional as well as Ozone therapy work is done.

Fluoroscopy imaging facility is available that helps obtaining real-time moving images of the internal structures of a patient through the use of a fluoroscope. We facilitate the following fluoroscopy tests:

Mammography

Mammography is the process of using low-dose amplitude-X-rays to examine the breast and is used as a diagnostic as well as a screening tool. Mammography helps in early detection of breast cancer, typically through detection of characteristic masses and/or micro calcifications.
