Dr. Vishal Kundnani is a renowned Spine Surgeon and Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery specialist, recognized for his expertise in advanced spinal care, cervical spine surgery, scoliosis correction, and micro-endoscopic spine surgery. A gold medalist throughout his academic career, he completed his MBBS from Barkatullah University, Bhopal and MS (Orthopedics) from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, earning top honors in both programs.

Following extensive fellowship training in spine surgery from internationally reputed centers in the UK, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Korea, Finland, and Malaysia, Dr. Kundnani established himself as one of India’s leading spine specialists. He is currently the Head of the Mumbai Institute of Spine Surgery at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai.

Since 2009, Dr. Vishal Kundnani has been actively practicing at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai, where he leads advanced spine care programs and specializes in minimally invasive, navigation-guided, robotic, pediatric, craniovertebral, and cervical spine surgeries. Over the past 15 years, he has successfully treated more than 20,000 spine patients non-surgically and performed over 5,000 successful microscopic and minimally invasive spine surgeries.

Dr. Kundnani is a pioneer in Navigation-Guided and Robotic Spine Surgery and has performed more than 3,000 minimally invasive spine procedures along with 500+ navigation-guided spine surgeries. He also serves as Supervisor and Guide for the National ASSI Spine Fellowship and National MISS Spine Fellowship programs.

Dr. Vishal Kundnani has authored numerous national and international publications and has delivered over 200 presentations and deliberations at national and international spine conferences. His research and contributions in minimally invasive spine surgery, scoliosis correction, spinal tuberculosis, and cervical spine surgery are widely recognized.

He has organized several national spine surgery workshops and conferences, including the Bombay Operative Spine Course and Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery workshops. His excellence in spine care has earned him multiple accolades including the Young Surgeon Achiever Award, Best Doctor Mumbai Award, and recognition by leading national healthcare platforms.

Apart from his surgical achievements, Dr. Kundnani is actively involved in social and educational initiatives, contributing toward education, awareness, and healthcare support for underprivileged communities.
